We were very excited to wake-up this morning to no rain (it's been raining all week.) Since it's spring break, we jumped at the opportunity to be together outside all morning and afternoon with the sun shining bright....working on our children's garden and feeding the ducks at the pond. My son is now sleeping, my daughter is having a snack and I'm doing a quick post. Wanted to share with you how it now feels like spring in our vacation home...both flower groupings I picked from our gardens.
The forsythia are sitting on a table in our great room.
And, the daffodils are in the guest bathroom.
Have you brought the great outdoors in from your yard or with a store purchase?

ReplyDeleteGorgeous!! The forsythia is fantastic!! I Love grabbing raw flowers and just throwing them into a vase. Not that I don't Love carefully arranged flowers too. But I'm totally not against leaving it natural. Even filler flowers can look Lovely when bunched together. Just Lovely :)
ReplyDeleteBeatriz.
Lisa this is a perfect setting... the top photo of the yellow forsythia in the foreground and the fabulous interior behind with the timber floors and natural light.... Perfect and the colour yellow ... love it. Are these from your garden? I love natural arrangements as well as formal ones. Sometimes I just pick random things from my garden and they always work. Beautiful post and hope the weather keeps fine for you. Happy Easter! (Andrew is on call so we are just at home but Alex is home from the U.S.!)

ReplyDeleteLisa - your home is absolutely gorgeous. Oh my!! Really beautiful.
ReplyDeleteLisa, I love seeing your home & YES the forsythia is beautiful (I must buy mine) & so is your home. My daughter & I spent Sunday afternoon & Monday gardening, planting beautiful flowers in pots, in the ground, and even tomatoes & parsley in big containers. The sunlight is good medicine for everything.
ReplyDeleteI always have a huge old turquoise bowl filled with orchids and little roses round the bottom on the counter in my kitchen...the orchids last forever and then I take them outside to see if they will bloom again. Love your posts.
xx's Marsha
