Here I hung a simple wreath.
On the back of our kitchen chairs I made simple swags.
Paperwhites always signal Christmas to me. Sitting on our kitchen table we watch the daily progress. Wondering if they will bloom on Christmas?
Seeing ribbon candy in a dish conjures up memories of being a little girl and it being Christmas.
What are some of the ways you've enhanced your home for Christmas?
Love the muslin idea! Your home looks festive without being overdone! xo
ReplyDeleteI love the chair swags, the ribbon candy under the bell jar and always for Paperwhites. Merry! Merry!

Lisa, I love all of your touches!!!Simple and yet elegant, just like YOU!! I love the ribbon candy , not to eat but to looks. My grandpa always had a dish of it by his chair and I use to love to look at all the colors spun into sugary art. Merry Christmas,Kathysue
ReplyDeleteThe simplicity of everything is so perfect. I am more of an over the top girl! And when I see images like these I fall more in love with it.
ReplyDeleteI'm not doing much at all this Christmas because we are building a little house and I am HOPING to be in it mid January, so I don't want to have more things to put up , then Pack and move.
Have a pretty day!
Kristin
I love the ribbon candy! You are like me, I can't stand red and green, and will only allow subtle and tasteful Christmas decor in my home. This is gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteGood ribbon candy is so hard to find! This all looks so wonderful. I have pared things down quite a bit the past few years and much prefer the more sparse look. As for me...well I must use pinecones!
ReplyDeleteSometimes I think subtle is better. Love these.
ReplyDeletePerfect elegance! Those chair swags would make me smile at every holiday meal.
ReplyDeleteAww I love the candy! It definitely reminds me of when I was younger. I was thinking of hanging candy Canes on my Christmas tree this year, but my husband and I are going away for Christmas this year so we would have no one to eat them. Maybe next year.
ReplyDeleteLisa, I keep on repeating myself, but you have great taste. I love the simplicity, yet sophistication of your decor choices. Bravo.
ReplyDeleteHow simple and elegant...love it all!! The swag on the chair is just the perfect touch~
ReplyDeleteWhat a fabulous spot to hang a wreath. I think I might do the same! LOVE your window treatments btw.
ReplyDeleteFestive, yet simple decorating is easy, does not take a lot of time on the set-up or take down and always looks good. Thanks for your comments. Have a super lovely holiday!
ReplyDeleteAlways, always, birds of a feather my sweet friend. My house is covered in strewn evergreen. It smells amazing, and adds such a classy touch of Christmas without the obvious red (although some of that is always fun too). And about the leopard in your latest post? I would go for the runner. I am all about the runners and I would not want to cover up that beautiful wood :)
ReplyDeletePS thank you for the sweet comment on our reception set-up video!! It was out of this world... I am dying to share more... our photographer should be done within the next couple weeks... eek!!
All my Love,
B.
It looks so nice, I like it! It reminds me of my mothers place, she has a lot of white too and it looks very stylish.
ReplyDeleteI'll go there to spend the christmas with her and my dad this christmas and I've decided to give her a sign from http://www.ramsign.com this year, think it will look good on their house :)
