Air date today!

Recently I did a post about "Our date with Nate" http://hamptontoes.blogspot.com/2010/08/our-date-with-nate-berkus.html, however I did not mention a little segment I taped for an upcoming show. Well, this week I got an e-mail from the producer of the Nate Berkus show informing me that my segment will air today. I am smitten with the interiors that Nate has designed, so I'm honored that he liked the room I designed for my son.

Brushed steel lighting fixture.
Blackwatch plaid wool carpeting.
I had my husband's old rugby jersey framed in a shadowbox. I hope that if any man is going to be a hero to our son that his father will fit the bill. Nate loved this idea!
Ralph Lauren wallcovering below the chair rail.
Set your DVR if you want to catch a quick glimpse! Have a wonderful weekend!

congratulations. Your son's room is definitely T.V. worthy. The brushed steel light fixture is new to me, and I love the way you picked out the navy on the door. That room will certainly grow with him. Very smart plan.

What a chic little man's room! I love how you mixed in the vintage pieces, chrome lighting and the paint detail on the door. Great touches!

I love the room and i love the history, personal touch, and sentimental value added by framing your husband's old rugby shirt. Congrats on the feature too!

Can you please share where the crib is from?

Hamptontoes said...

I ordered the crib on-line after my son was born. Unfortunately, with my son having three months of colic, I don't remember where I purchased it from. The simple lines and lower sides caught my attention, plus it had a handsome appeal.

Lisa - Please tell us when this airs again! The room is amazing (the striped wallpaper is the perfect touch, for me!) I booked tickets to see The Nate Show when I was in NYC for a March jewelry conference, but then found I had "bonus" conference sessions that morning. So I hope to catch a taping another time!
