Warehouse Sale!

If you live in the NYC Metro area you might want to visit Brunschwig & Fils warehouse sale at 75 Virginia Road in White Plains, NY this Saturday from 9am to 5pm and Sunday from 10am to 5pm. I attended today and captured the following "game!"

This Brunschwig & Fils "Bamboo Grove" remnant measures 48 x 28.
I absolutely love all the colors in this textile. I'm going to have it matted and framed to hang in my office.
I'm absolutely wild about this textile that looks like snakeskin! I'm going to create two huge floor pillows for our living room.
This textile is absolutely stunning in person. The colors are so rich and the pattern is captivating. This 5 yard remnant will quickly become a tablecloth for my kitchen table, which will be the "children's" table this Thanksgiving.
My children have a large playroom that also includes a sitting area for watching television and  reading books. I'm currently working on the new design for the space. I'm leaning towards furnishings in neutrals and accents with hunter greens, deep rich rusts and dark blues. This textile is sophisticated, yet playful...perfect for our family playroom. I love the dragons, deer and butterflies!
Buying excellent quality textiles for a song = happiness! What sales have you shopped lately that made you smile? Have a wonderful weekend!

I have been to sale too and will go again today! It's incredible. There is SO MUCH fabric at prices that you can't beat. A lot of smaller furniture, tables and some attractive Hinson lighting. I love Brunschwig!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow I love these fabrics! Thank you for the tip on the sale...I wish I could make it out to White Plains this weekend. What a deal! On Tuesday I wrote about a few upcoming sample sales that I want to check out. I definitely want to go to the John Robshaw sale next week! Oh, these are so beautiful...I have sadly missed most of the sample sales in our area with the new baby. However, I did manage to score two chairs from Niermann Weeks that I've been coveting...they were kind enough to sell them to me even though I couldn't make it to the sale. Cannot wait to see the finished products with these textiles...I am sure they will be inspirational.

Whoops! I'm supposed to babysit my ancient parents in Long Island, how can I have my cake and eat it too. My lifetime conundrum.

Love all your scoops, but I think my favorite is the snakeskin fabric, and the idea of floor pillows...just brilliant!

Hi...such a great blog...BUT here's why you want to rethink the mouthwash in the decanter. Most of them are old, and made of heavily leaded chrystal, which can leach into the liquid. Not such a worry if it's not in there a long time...but if it is, then it's a problem. Solution? Use them for bubble bath.
