Albert Hadley's Rooms With A View showhouse

It is with great enthusiasm that I announce my participation as a designer in this year's Rooms With A View showhouse located in Southport, Connecticut. With total artistic license, twelve designers will be transforming their 5'6" x 8" cookie cutter spaces into spectacular spaces. This past weekend we started the installations and the vignettes are looking impressive!
The theme, Design On A Shoestring, plays tribute to one of Albert Hadley's earlier projects. In 1959, Mr. Hadley was commissioned by Vogue Magazine to transform a young gal's beach house room on a "shoestring budget." His first editorial that continues to be publized is confirmation that with a good eye and purposeful purchases one can create a fabulous interior while mindful of budget.
It was Albert Hadley's wishes that Thom Filicia (one of his former protege's) take over his chairman position and continue with this preeminent design event of the Northeast.
Rooms With A View is certain to be a fun escape for a morning, afternoon or evening after a week of hurricane preparations. If you plan on attending the show, let me know and I'll look forward to meeting you!

I am so excited for you!
I have been away awhile and have so much catching up to do in the Land of Blog!
We don't have much in the way of Design Houses in my neck of the woods, though I dream of organizing one near the inner city to help fund local children's groups.

Dear Lisa,
I am finally getting caught up after being without power for 10 days. I can't tell you how proud I was of you for being chosen for Rooms with a View...and equally disappointed that I missed it due to these past two weeks.

I've heard how fabulous your space was!!!!! And, I'm so happy that you had described it to me beforehand.

Hope all is well in your little corner of the world. I am finally returning to normal.
xoxo Elizabeth

who like Inside Out Games the most, and found out, that 11 to 17 girls are more attuned to expressions and emotions than others. This is the main reason, why the main

character in this cartoon film is little, 11 years old, girl. When little girls see, that there is a girl in the film, who has the same age, the like it more and more.

So, we think, that Inside Out Games will be liked highly! The budget of Inside Out was $175 million, but authors commercialized much more, than they had spent! They

have got $856.1 million from sales in all over the world. From that we can understand, that this film attracts every people, it does not matter he or she will be girl,

or boy, teenager or mature. Those people like Inside Out Games too, of course.
