Lunch at NYC'S BG

I love decor, delicious food and a fabulous interior, so it's no wonder I was smitten with BG in NYC's Bergdorf GoodmanPretty Pink Tulips suggested lunch at BG to our group that attended the Nate Berkus show together, read here and here. Since our visit in August, I've squeezed in a visit or two!

Kelly Wearstler worked her magic in this spot and it drips of fabulousness! Love the interior...it's chic, elegant and sophisticated...it's simply stunning! To eat at BG is too not only experience an attentive waitstaff, to indulge your palette, take peaks of Central Park via your window seat, but it is to enjoy KWID's interior design.

You know you're in for a treat just from the view outside BG...
Inside the restaurant...
What are some of your favorite elements of this space? Have you experienced BG?

  7. I love BG (and Bergdorf's in general) - my sister and I meet there occasionally (when we're not meeting at the museum). I always have the same salad - I really need to branch out!!

  8. Signé Kelly Wearstler indeed. I really like those Pope Chairs, how I enjoy them! One thing I notice in every design by KW is the presence of an abstract metallic sculpture with Ard Decó flavor, the one in this restaurant is interesting, so is the matching chandellier. Bet you had decó intoxitation in BG. Thanks for sharing your pics Barbara, they are fabulous! Xo

  12. I don't care how delicious the food is, if there isn't ambiance then I won't return to a restaurant. I can see why you loved BG. The corner with the diamond detail on the walls is fab-u-lous.

  13. That lunch was such fun - the company was fantastic and so was the ambience. I'm with Q, I always have the BG salad so I promise to try something new the next time I'm there.

  21. This restaurant was actually featured in Taschen's NY. I remember looking at some pictures and admiring those beautiful cacoon-like chairs. Stunning. But daaahling, what did you eat? Is the food as fab as the surrounds?

  22. I remember when she first did this restaurant - I loved it like the first time I saw the Viceroy in LA 8-9 years ago. I love the color combinations, the elements - I haven't lunched here but I picture myself sipping champagne have lunch with friends. Love it. Lucky for you - you live near the city.
