Blue + lucite + bamboo = chair

This blue bamboo lucite chair by Go Home Ltd. (to the trade) is the newest addition to my daughter's bedroom. Since my daughter was 4 1/2 years old she has been a proficient reader. Each night after our bedtime routine of stories together, she loves to read on her own. We decided together that she would benefit from a desk, a chair and a lamp next to her bed. The chair has arrived, the other items will follow shortly.
This nearly 5' x 6' solid wood beveled mirror hangs on one wall creating a great impact.
Do you may remember my post about wallpapering a bookcase?
Do you fancy a little lucite in your home?

  9. What a gorgeous room! Love it...and the chair is the crowning touch to such a splendid space. Funny I have those "crowns" too....still in a box, was going to use them for my future closet for handbags! I love the feeling of her room, dreamy fit for a princess...the lucite chair is a fun trendier look but still very elegant:-)

  11. Your daughter's room is too sweet....a very lucky little girl indeed! Love the chair too...I remember the image you posted after the NYIGF. There are built in desks with shelving above in each of my kids' rooms. I am thinking of a Kartell Mademoiselle in Maddie's room and a grey Ghost in Harry's room.

  34. The lucite chair is stunning. I hadn't realized that you could get them in styles like that. It makes me think that I should start looking for more lucite, too.

About the room, breathtaking! One tiny thing though, if your daughter is only 4 and a half, how will you ever keep the white cushion on the chair tidy? If you can do that, you truly are a genius!
