Loving Kravet's suzani

Last week I posted about a Kravet (to the trade) suzani textile that is being used on two wing back chairs for a client. This is another suzani textile by Kravet that I love, love so much that I'm using it in my living room (living room and living room.)
This design is fresh enough to be modern day, but classic enough to be timeless. Not only is this print fabulous, but the colorways are amazing! Love them all!
I adore the color orange and it makes such a chic statement when done right! What colorway do you like?

Love the blues and greens - perhaps that's because those are the colors in our family room and I'm looking for some throw pillows! Hope you has a wonderful weekend!

LOVE it!!!!! I can't decide which colorway I like best though, they are all so beautiful. I think the first or the last...something about that orange really makes it pop. Fabulous!

The green is great! Maybe it's the spring talking...the purple I could see me loving in the fall. Orange, is always, always a great choice!! XO, Kelly

I love the last color combination the best. I think I am partial to red/orange b/c I have decorated my home in these colors. Hope Paris was fun!!!!

Beautiful fabric. I like the first and third colorways the best - but you know how partial I am to orange!! There is also a beautiful new fabric from Quadrille that I show on the blog today that you might like. Tilton Fenwick used it in their room at Design on a Dime.

I do like orange but it never seems to agree with my complexion. For a time my mother was convinced that I loved it so bought me tons of clothes in a bright, harsh shade. It was impossible but I was stuck since still in high school and penniless.

I've never tried it in a room before. Which of these colors are you going to use?

Nowadays for rooms I like warm not too bold colors like certain yellows, creams, and the paler browns but that's probably because we've so much brightly colored artwork everywhere that it is better to have the background fade a bit. Our kitchen remodel, for example is all in those colors though we got these lovely pale blue glass tile for the backsplash. I hope that you'll approve ;)

We're going to be in New York for a few days next week: May 19 to 25. Any off-the-beaten-track suggestions?

I purchased an oversized sample of the purple version, now I'm off to purchase yardage (and will buy the version that looks to have aqua in it too), it was SO perfect with a piece of art I'd grown tired of that it actually convinced me to keep the art!
