Hampton Designer Showhouse

The design duo, Tilton Fenwick, stole the show in the "basement" of Traditional Home's Hampton Designer Showhouse. Designing a basement in a showhouse is probably not the first choice of most designers, nor was it their choice...it was assigned. However, what Suysel and Anne accomplished is a testament to their interior design prowess. Way to go ladies!
The pagoda lanterns are amazing! Tilton Fenwick did not miss a beat, every detail is stunning!
I am in awe over this room. Their color palette is sheer perfection, the room is inviting, the details are eye catching and most importantly, it is a liveable space. The Jules Cozine painting on the right is a winner.
The bold yellow National Geographics look so chic lined up across the Hickory Chair "Peony" console. The Spitzmiller "Garniture" lamps add a rich splash of color to the room and compliment the Eric Cahan artwork quite nicely. The Phillip Jeffries wallcovering is so amazing that it has me planning my early August visit to their showroom. This room is truly bursting at the seams with fabulousness!
Tic tac toe anyone?
I met the Tilton Fenwick ladies at Kravet's 2011 Blogfest in May and since then we've been hanging out together. They are as nice, down to earth and beautiful as they are talented!
Suysel and Anne ventured out on their own with the formation of Tilton Fenwick less than a year ago and have already designed a space in the coveted Hampton Designer Showhouse! Traditonal Home is the proud sponsor of the  Hampton Designer Showhouse which is open daily from 11am to 5pm. Are you planning your visit?

My two favorite parts of that room are the magazines and the green sofas. The wallcovering looks fabulous too.

I adore these two talented ladies...and you're right. They knocked it out of the park with their design!!!

So sad I won't be venturing that way this summer, so doubly glad you've posted pics so I feel as if I was there.

Wow, such a great space. They have some major talent for sure! I love it all but I love the pillow/ottomans. They really thought of everything. Wish I were going to be up there but alas it isn't in the cards.

what a great color palette! It really works together. The National G's just put it over the top and make me think of my dad!

Was so sorry I couldn't make it out to see this in person but your coverage is the next best thing. Anne and Suyselare the best - they have incredible style and as you pointed out a fantastic eye for detail. Their inventive combinations of colors and shapes elevate this difficult space into a desirable one!!

Fabulous space! I love the chartreuse seating, and those pagoda lanterns are sweet too. Great post. I'll have to try to see this showhouse in person.

what a great space! It's always nice when a basement has full-length windows - it doesn't feel like a basement at all :)

I love the artwork in that room, it's just perfect and I can't say how many times I have found myself lost in a stack of National Geographics, so that calls out to me as well. So inspiring!

Hi Lisa,

Thanks for this lovely post... I didn't even recognize the rivet wallpaper until the last photo! It and the whole room look fabulous as you say. I just love Hamptons Style and you are the perfect hostess!!xo

I'm fascinated by the green sofas. They both divide the room into two different areas and unite the room as one. Very creative. If only I had more space, it is somthing that I'd do at my home.

I always love Hydrangeas, outdoors and indoors, but usually only see white used on a regular basis. These purples are divine....the colour of passion.....!!
