New York International Gift Fair - Final day of your "tour"

Last weekend I spent all day Saturday and Sunday walking miles at the NYIGF while looking at beautiful furnishings! All week I have been sharing with you photos I took while at the show to give you a behind the scene tour of the fun! This is the final "tour" of the week...hope you have enjoyed!

Trays are one of my favorite home accessories. I use trays in foyers for a handy place to corral keys, a cell phone, one's wallet, etc....they look great, but also provide a utilitarian function. I also love them in a living room placed on an ottoman...great for your beverage of choice! The following three tray's caught my attention as being quite striking. I fancy them all, but all in different homes!

Bungalow 5 has this fabulous tray...love the gold, the depth and the shape...you too? This tray would be perfect in a foyer on a sideboard or console.  Visit http://www.bungalow5.com/ to find a retailer near you.

Sashi Dekor makes gorgeous wooden trays...quite exotic in their appeal! The following are two handsome examples of their work. Visit http://www.sashidekor.com/ for a retailer near you.

Notre Monde makes trays with mirrored bottoms. Look at the designs within the mirror...striking, right?
Visit Notre Monde to find a retailer near you. http://www.notremonde.com/

I hope you have enjoyed the week of "tours"! Have a wonderful weekend!

I could not take my eyes off this floral pillow...it's absolutely beautiful! The colors and the design are so striking that it would give a little personality to any home! This company represents many artists. Look at their website for more information. http://www.amaridianusa.com/
These are pillows, not rocks! Amazing, right?

Bungalow 5 has a wonderful collection of home furnishings! I have always loved this Jacqui console desk/console. It comes in so many great colors (white, brown, red, green -as shown and black). It could be used in a living room, a bedroom, a hallways, the foyer...where would you place the Jacqui? To look at the entire Bungalow 5 line visit http://www.bungalow5.com/ and to find a retailer near you you'll have to e-mail the contact information on the Bungalow 5 website. New York International Gift Fair...Day 3 of your "tour"

The past two days I've posted images of items that caught my attention at the NYIGF and will continue to share photos from the show with you this week. On Monday I mentioned, the NYIGF is to the trade only (designers, shop owners, retailers, etc) so if you aren't part of the trade, but love the trade here is your behind the scene tour! Enjoy!

Julian Chichester's line of home furnishings never disappoints...it's so striking! Look at the company website to find a dealer in your area. http://www.julianchichester.com/
This Anna cabinet is a beauty! The Seville mirror is quite lovely too!
Loving this lighting fixture!

If ever there was "jewelry" for the home, I think I've found it! Look at the napkin rings and the lovely bird branch sconce...so pretty, right? To look for a retailer near you visit http://www.canopydesigns.com/ . If you live in the NYC area or will be visiting, check out ABC Carpet & Home as they carry this line!

Shiner Internaional just launched it's line at the NYIGF...I was impressed! The owner of the company was so nice and he informed me that all products are made here in the USA (big plus)! This chair is so unique that it caught my attention! Of course, I had to try it out to make sure someone would really want to sit in it...it passed! Also, look at the coffee table...how clever for those who have lots of magazines or papers piled up.
See you tomorrow for Day 4 of your "tour"!

New York International Gift Fair - Day 2 of your "tour"

If you did not read yesterday's post, I'll fill you in quickly. I went to the NYIGF this past Saturday and Sunday and was inspired by various items that I'm sharing this week with all of you...it's your behind the scene tour of the show! Day two of sharing...

Having held a coveted internship with Bunny Williams Inc., I was thrilled to see a familiar face or two and of course, see Bunny Williams herself at the show! Bunny Williams is in a league of her own...her work is simply amazing! You can't dream up the interiors her firm creates. For those of you who may not know, Bunny is one of the most renowned interior designers of our time. Now, you can have a little slice of Bunny's taste in your home with her home furnishings line...BeeLine Home by Bunny Williams. To find a shop in your area carrying her line visit http://www.beelinehome.com/ . To see why you might want to have Bunny's taste in your home visit her website http://www.bunnywilliams.com/. Enjoy!
Here I am with oh-so talented Bunny Williams!
Amazing table!

I love the legs on this table, the shelf beneath the drawers, the detailing around the knob pulls...perfection!

The arms, the detailing, the size...what a beautiful chair!

You must visit her website to see this sofa...it's gorgeous! There were many admirers in front of the sofa so I snapped a photo of the corner to show you the detailing...stunning, right?
Love this lamp! It's sculptural like with great lines...nice touch of modern day to traditional.
 Look at the close-up below.
What a chic, but practical place for placing newspapers, magazines...maybe, even in a half bath or office for trash? How would you use this tote? I love, love, love this tote!

Outdoor entertaining is out of the question right now here in New York, but it won't be long before spring and summer are here! These melamine plates/bowls are gorgeous and perfect for the outdoors! Set the outdoor table with these and you'll look chic, yet practical! Who is planning the first get together with these beauties? Look at the company website to view a retailer near you and see the entire collection...you'll be wanting to plan your outdoor festivities! http://www.bongenre.com/

Have you ever seen French linens this beautiful? I believe when designing a room that every room should have one "wow" or "whimsical" factor...these linens would most certainly qualify as a "wow" factor! They make a great hostess gift, a lovely gift for the person who has everything or what about for the newly married? Visit the company webite and happy shopping! http://www.twogirlsinavignon.com/
Come back tomorrow for day 3 of sharing!

New York International Gift Fair - Day 1 of your "tour"

I spent the weekend walking the aisles at the NYIGF...as always, it was amazing! Attendance at the NYIGF is to the trade only (ie: designers, shop owners, retailers, etc). If something peaks your interest you'll have to find access to it through the trade, as most of these companies do not sell directly to the public. Check back daily this week, as each day I will post special items that caught my attention. I hope you enjoy your "visit" to the NYIGF via Hamptontoes!

I love this chair! It is aesthetically appealing, but also very comfortable (yes, it truly is)! It would be perfect with a throw draped over it to cover the back and the seating portion, but still exposing the frame. I also see this chair around a rustic, wooden table...that combination would be amazing! And, of course it looks good on its own! This chair is produced by Peddlers Home Design http://www.peddlersdesign.com/ (you can email them to find a retailer in your area).
I had to give it a try for comfort...it passed!

Jonathan Adler now has a Jonathan Adler Junior line of amazing furniture and furnishings just for little children! Look at the images below:  the gorgeous Junior Lampert sofa is a show stopper, the pink velvet Junior Templeton chair is divine, the letter pillows made of Alpaca wool are chic, the zebra print rugs in youthful colors are perfect for a little one's room, the giraffe sconces/lamp are whimsical, the elephant lamp with the finial being the tip of the elephant's trunk is a conversation piece, the needlepoint zodiac pillows are fun and of course, the shoe that is a butter dish for a whimsical touch at the dinner table! Check out http://www.jonathanadler.com/ for a retail location near you...happy shopping!

These lighting fixtures are so striking! I like them all!

Looking for a "gold" chair that is traditional, yet with freshness that says modern day? I found it - I am loving this chair!  It's by Manglam Arts which is available to designers and retail. http://www.manglam.com/

Come back tomorrow for more exciting finds!
