Wow...I will be back next year!

The past two days have been ridiculously busy, but I did manage to squeeze in a visit to the annual Brunschwig & Fils warehouse sale located in White Plains, NY. The sale started on Saturday and ran through yesterday. I was truly impressed with the selection of textiles, wallcoverings and furnishings, but I was even more impressed with how nice every single person was that I encountered who worked the sale. I have never attended a warehouse sale of any kind, so this was a real treat!

This rich navy wool woven will become an upholstered bed for my son's room. The textile is super dense making it perfect for upholstered a bed. Now, I need to select a navy/white trim cord from the D & D to create a truly stunning bed. Once I find the cord that I like I will ship the goods to start production...can't wait! He is twenty months old and before long he'll be transferring from his crib to his bed. This textile really needs to be seen and felt to truly appreciate its appeal.
This linen velvet will become two swivel tub chairs. It's stunning in person! I will post about the chairs and my living room once the chairs are completed.
This heavy weight linen will go in the guest bedroom of our vacation home.
I almost fell over when I saw this turquoise-greenish silk...perfect for my dining room.  This silk will go on the back of each Louis XVI chair I'm having made for the space. It's one of the only practical places in a home with children to have silk. I've been searching for the chairs since last year and I found a manufacturer in January when I was at the NYIGF. We've been working together since then to get the chair color exact and now we are ready for production.
This silk velvet textile is gorgeous...absolutely amazing in person. I'm playing with a couple of options...not sure which way I'll go, but I knew I could not pass on its beauty.
I have two different options in mind for this textile.
Again, I have a couple of ideas for this one...will share finished product.
Tomorrow, I will post all of the wallcoverings I purchased...I have some really fun projects ahead of me. Amazing deals on everything I bought. Yes, I will back next year! Will you be there? Have you attended any design warehouse sales? If so, which ones?

I would have loved to be at this! I have a tremendous amount of luck whenever Stark and Baker have warehouse sales. They did a joint sale this past winter and I about died!

Amazing fabric choices. I can not wait to see what you do with all of these great choices. I loved each and everyone of them. I will have to admit the turqouise silk is a show stopper. I finished my front porch finalllllly! If you like black and white stripes come by for a visit, Kathysue
