A fairy gathering

Last week I read about a fairy gathering book launch on Pretty Pink Tulips blog, www.prettypinktulips.com/2010/06/enchanting-give-away.html. After reading the post and looking at the author, Colleen Mullaney's website http://www.colleenmullaney.com/ I thought it would be fun to go! I could tell from looking over her website that Colleen and I like to entertain in the same fashion, from the decor of a gathering to the special playdates she pulls together. Last Thursday was a  busy day, but I was able to move some appointments around and took my daughter to the darling little gathering!

The greeting as we walked up to Twinkle Toes storefront!
Some photos of the setting!
Here I am (red hat) with Fairy Parties author, Colleen Mullaney!
Fairy Parties is an adorable book that makes for a nice gift! Colleen has other books that I'll have to check out too. Thank you Pretty Pink Tulips for the introduction to such a talented lady!

How fun...I am sure your daughter had a ball with you. Great, photo too! I came home this afternoon to my daughter sporting a new fairy costume our nanny brought over for her....she is just starting with the interest in dress up and make believe....love it!

Lisa, so happy that you and your daughter were able to enjoy the party! Colleen is full of great ideas --- and sharing them with the petite set is a particular talent of hers. Just sorry I missed you when you came to town!! xo Elizabeth

This looks like such fun! I think my daughter is past the fairy age but let's be honest, we all like to feel like a princess! I bet she would love this. Sounds like this made for a wonderful day together!

Two gorgeous blondes and tutus, too! Too bad my boys would absolutely refuse to attend... perhaps Colleen would consider writing a pirate or monster party book!

What fun! I look forward to these types of events when my little girl is a little older - I'm sure your little fairy princess had a wonderful time!

The Buzz,
So funny you mention monster party, as I'm having a Monster Splash Bash for my son's 2nd birthday! I can't wait for the big day...it's going to be so cute!
